According to data released by the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI), the US's weekly crude steel output totaled 1.819 million short tons in the week ended on March 30th, up by 0.6% from a week ago while falling by 8.2% year on year.
In the given period of time, the country's average capability utilization was at 75.9%, higher than 75.5% in a week ago.
